Adi Messeca
Adi earned her Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and specializes in depression, anxiety, PTSD, low self-esteem, life transitions, women's issues, parenting, and grief and loss. She has an extensive background working from evidence-based approaches such as Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems.  

For over 10 years, she worked with children with developmental disabilities such as autism, as well as their families, teachers, and other respective professionals involved. She also worked with pediatric patients in the Child Life Program at the UCI Medical Center, and their siblings and family members. At the Marriage and Family Research Institute, Adi provided in-home therapeutic services to adolescent girls struggling with substance abuse and other psychological issues.  She often conducted intense family interventions and has helped family members understand young women's mental health issues.  

Adi helps clients by guiding them in thoughtful self-exploration, helping them gain an awareness and understanding of their relationships with others, encouraging them to cultivate genuine compassion for themselves and others, and co-creating a plan with them to increase adaptive thoughts and behaviors for a more balanced and fulfilling life.  

Adi is in private practice with locations in Malibu and Westlake Village. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and she speaks Hebrew.
